Long Term Plan 2018-2028

What’s this consultation all about?

What are the needs of the communities of our District for the next ten years and beyond.

There are many things that are important, we have two big issues that we a want you feedback on, and welcome your comment on anything else. We want to ensure that tomorrow is great, today.

We have thought about the best way to address these issues and have made some initial decisions on our preferred way forward.

You can find more background on the key issues, our policies and plans as well as other projects we are continuing with or have cancelled.

Key Issues

Over the next ten years Council will undertake many projects requiring many decisions to be made. Council considers there are two the key issues facing the community over the next ten years. These are issues that are significant in terms of their impact on the community, financial cost or public interest, among other factors.
